We have been learning about bats!  I learned that bats are nocturnal which means they hunt for their food at night and sleep during the day.  ----Rachel

In science we are learning about land habitats.  In a woodland forest you can find deer, mice, frogs, and raccoons!  Mushrooms also grow there.  There are a lot of plants there and it has all four seasons.  Moss also grows on the trees.-----Katie

We are going to do a book report next Friday.  Mine is about snakes.  I will be interviewing a snake for my project.  We are learning about compound words.  -----Spencer

We are also learning about adjectives.  Adjectives are words that describe nouns.  My favorite adjective is humongous.  The dictionary is humongous!  We are also learning about Gideon.  Gideon was a farmer that God chose to be a leader for the people.  ----Joshua
